My Teachers (Elementary through Graduate School)

In the summer of 2020 I had a horrible realization that I had never had a teacher of color. I went through all of my grade school yearbooks and scoured the websites for my university degrees and was baffled by the lack of diversity in my own education. I scanned every photo and cycle through each one with the history of red lining in each city lingering in the background.
